MINRESI Urges Cameroonian Researchers to Apply for VYZOV Prize 2026

Dr. Madeleine Tchuinté, Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI), informed the national scientific community about the opening of applications for the VYZOV Prize for Future Technologies under Cameroon-Russia bilateral cooperation.

As part of the bilateral cooperation between Cameroon and the Russian Federation, the VYZOV Prize recognizes major scientific advances and disruptive engineering innovations with high potential for technological application.

The international award features a total endowment of 65 million Russian rubles. It is open to researchers worldwide, particularly through the “Discovery” category, and accepts submissions via self-nomination, peer nomination, or institutional nomination.

Applications must be submitted online on the official website no later than Thursday, May 21, 2026.
